2008 Stabilization Tax Act

In the beginning of October of 2008, President Bush signed into a law a financial rescue package called the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.

One keep part of the tax act that all small business owners should be aware of is that this allows an increase in the allowable deduction for leasehold improvements. Previously, cost recovery deductions were allowed for a period of 39 years!! But until December 2009, the period will decrease to 15 years...you can recover improvement costs in half the time.

Wow, we've been busy with woodwork or millwork if you prefer. Since acquiring the Howmag BAZ 322 CNC Point To Point Machine, we're increasing our workload each and every week. Not that we are complaining.

It's amazing to watch this machine do its thing. Perfectly detailed cutting that is exact in measurement can be created in almost no time. Watching the "beast" as it's affectionately known is almost like watching a dance. It is almost graceful in its operation.
