One thing that we here at Salon Interiors are very passionate about is always exploring new ideas in cabinet design and materials.
We recently worked with a contractor that needed two existing metal cabinets incorporated into a cashier center that featured curved Corian and an Italian metal laminate by Abet Laminati.
We arranged the use of a large commercial oven to heat the Corian to the specified temperatures in accordance with Corian’s fabrication guidelines to be able to bend the radiused corners. The unit was designed to fit the previously specified metal cabinets and accommodate a cash register.
We are really quite pleased with how the project came out and even more pleased that this is now another unique design that we can offer our clients both salon and corporate offices to provide the most up to date cabinet finishes available.
All of the white is Corian, the black tray slide unit is Corian with Corian Slide rails, the wall is metal laminate, and the metal cabinets were provided by our client.
